If you're like me, you've got some fun stuff you want to display around the house?like old gadgetry?but are afraid of people picking up your old devices and trying to play with them. You could buy something, but as always, DIY offers you the most flexibility, and weblog Make shows us how to do it.
This DIY is going to take a little more than your average project, but if you've got a workshop, it's definitely doable. You'll need some scrap wood, a Dremel, a saw, some vice grips, a heat gun, and a few geometry skills to build your gadget museum. Once you've finished making your enclosure you can put just about anything on proud display for your family and friends. This DIY project is should definitely be filed under "advanced," but the end product should make you almost as proud as that Apple Newton you still own.
