I am trying to install ML on sony vaio cw series. I begin the installation and get the apple logo show up, after about a minute or so I get black screen and nothing happens again. I have tried several boot options live -x GraphicsEnabler=0, PCIRootUID=1 etc. to remedy the installation but without success.

One problem is that I am allowed to change any settings in the BIOS except for the boot priority option.
Can somebody help me get around this.
