I don't expect anyone to remember my anniversary. We got a couple cards from ILs early on and I thought it was unusual (nice, of course; but I was really surprised).?
That said, I also live far away from my friends and family and I understand that it's hard being homesick and far away. I've also noticed that I'm much more sensitive to feeling all alone out here now that I'm pregnant. So, maybe that's part of it??
